This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach amazing 2nd graders. Each year, I strive to equip my classroom with tools that help them thrive throughout the year. This year, I want my students to really understand how characters in stories feel.

This project provides each student with a feelings wheel to help them describe feelings beyond mad and happy.

It also equips our classroom with colorful bulletin boards to fully realize the "Inside Out" theme. I'm hopeful that by teaching students early to identify feelings within stories it will also help them in their own personal lives as well. Thank you for your support.
