My Project
Imagine being a student, sitting in classrooms all day, feeling like everyone else has all the answers but you just can't figure it out. That is how so many of my struggling readers and writers feel. Let's change that.
I want to provide my students with hands-on, inquiry based lessons that will help them fall in love with learning again.
The marble run will help my students use logic to create a marble run. The magnetic tiles will allow my students to use their imagination and creativity to build structures. Through conversations with my kiddos, it has come to my attention that they need activities where creativity, effort, critical thinking and excitement play a more important role in being successful than finding the right answers. We have decided that creating a STEAM (science, technology, art, engineering, math) club will do just the trick!
