My Students

You have a 1 in 6 chance of being a victim of a crime in our school's neighborhood. Crime is 136% higher than the national average and students come to our school every day carrying the trauma around them.

This is the first year my students have a dedicated Science class and we want to experiment and investigate as much as we can.

We are totally in person and on a very tight schedule. Having individual supplies will help us be prepared and also be Covid safe.

My students are future scientists who need to be able to see how the world works and make their own conclusions. They also will be collaborating in order to create individual science explorations.

My Project

Currently our students are studying our world including their impact on the environment.

One thing we are researching is if orbies in the soil would reduce the number of times the plant needs water.

We will explore how viscosity effects gravity by creating floam and slime drops.

We need to do a lot of research and headphone are always a commodity. I will be able to assign a color headphone to each class to assure each student has a clean pair.

Students will be studying the earth and skies and models are the best way to allow that exploration, a perpetual motion machine can be used for gravity and weather systems. We will make Kinetic sand to model how water systems erode.

Students will be able to open their minds to the endless possibilities to explore from space to earth. Our world needs young minds to take the chances to make a difference.
