My Students
We would love to read and listen to books in a new way. IPODS would allow my students to make connections to new opportunities in learning.
I teach twenty-one second graders in a small rural community.
Since we are a small rural community, it is difficult to receive material beyond the basic necessities for our classroom. For the last three years, we have had a zero-base budget. This means our class only receives the bare necessities to function as a class.
My Project
An IPOD TOUCH will expand the classroom walls. It will allow us to use podcasts, audio files, and text files in the curriculum. It's not just about telling. It's about teaching, participating, collaborating, and engaging a team of students to learn in a creative way.
