Help me give my students a Hue HD Pro USB document camera, wireless presenter control and sound buzzers to create a more engaging and innovative classroom for them to enjoy.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students belong to a Title One school where the majority of students receive free and reduced lunch. My classroom is shared between twenty-five very inquisitive 2nd-4th grade gifted students. I am constantly bombarded with "why" and "how" questions. The desire to learn and excel from each student is something I admire and love to witness as their enrichment teacher.
The majority of my students don't have access to technology outside of school, so I try to incorporate as much as I can in the classroom.My students love to be challenged and enjoy new innovative ways to support their learning.
My Project
My class is full of energetic and inquisitive students. They need to feel engaged and part of a team at all times. A document camera will allow me to take an individual assignment and turn it into a class assignment for all of my students to see! This camera will also allow individual students to share their own work with the rest of the class.
A document camera will set the tone for more discussion, interaction, and most importantly will maintain my students attention.
In addition to the camera, providing my students with a wireless remote will give my students more control of their own presentations to the class. Buzzers will provide my students with a more engaging and memorable experience when reviewing lessons or preparing for a test in teams.
