This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students will use both Crayola and Mr. Sketch Markers, as well as colored pencils, to create a product that demonstrates their learning. My goals for this project is that my students go beyond textbook work to design their own creative projects (i.e pamphlets or foldables) to demonstrate their own critical thinking skills across all subject areas. My students are special because they are learning in a bilingual classroom setting. Having access to creative supplies will provide an avenue for students to demonstrate their multicultural knowledge, and development, just in time for open house.
