I am currently starting a chess club in the inner city school I have been working at for years. I feel there is not enough diverse clubs that students can participate in if they are not involved in athletic activities. I feel my club will not only enhance the students critical thinking skills, but will offer a safe environment during after school hours.
Furthermore, I feel my new chess club with your donations will help build confidence and self esteem in the children that need it the most.
There will be many positive outcomes from this project.
