Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach 8TH grade math in the Inner Bronx, and too many of my students are far behind their grade level. Our students do not have access to computers, despite the importance of this technology to their education, their futures, and society.
I personally bought a labtop computer for the class so we can show math lesson and videos online for the students. We use united streaming so the students can see math come alive! However, we need speakers for the computer because the current ones broke.
With access to a computer speakers, I could guide my students' learning, so each could progress at their own pace, with interactive programs. Your contribution will go very far in impacting the lives of my 8th-graders. You will help many students to see the importance and reality of math in their daily lives. I thank you
