Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Since 1440 when Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press our society has been finding ways for us to share our words more quickly and with more people. No one has more interesting words to share than the students in my 4th grade class.
Last fall I purchased a printer/scanner/copier for my classroom. My fourth graders and I have made great use of this machine when we print documents they write on the computer, print color photos of classroom activities, photocopy homework assignments when students are absent, duplicate worksheets and much, much more!
My students are continuing to thrive with this resource. However, all of this printing and copying has depleted the supply of color ink cartridges that were donated by another gracious donor, like you, last fall.
Please help my students and I continue to use this precious resource by providing us with additional color ink cartridges and paper. It is a simple gift that will goo a long way toward making our classroom lively and helping my students document their hard work and their great ideas.
