My Students
This year, my kindergarten class is full of students who are bright, full of energy, and eager to learn. I have a total of nineteen students in my class, but that number is always changing. There are many different home languages represented, and most of my students have never been to school or pre-school before.
Kindergarten is such an important year that sets the stage for their achievement in school for many years to come.
My goal as their Kindergarten teacher is to give them the tools they need to succeed in first grade and beyond.
My Project
We need new color ink cartridges for our classroom printer to print student materials for daily use. With new printer ink and paper, I will be able to print materials for students to practice handwriting, letter sounds, and making words. My students could practice the same skills over and over again using the dry erase pockets, dry erase markers, and individual erasers. I will use the page protectors to protect these materials when not in use so I can use them again year after year.
I will also use the color ink to print student awards, certificates, letters home to parents and their Kindergarten diplomas.
The laminating pouches will be used to laminate their artwork, awards, and diplomas to preserve them for their parents.
