Ink Makes Us Think

My students need ink cartridges in order to be able to use our Accelerated Math program which individualizes their assignments based on their needs.

My Students

Can you imagine the excitement of third graders who get to scan their own assignment and immediately receive feedback and a new assignment based on their needs? That is what our Accelerated Math program allows us to do. However, in order to use this highly effective program, we need ink.

I teach in a Title One school located in a small town in a rural area.

Many of our students come in unprepared, while others are ready to be challenged. Meeting the many different needs can be difficult. The math program I use allows me to tailor a program for each student that can remediate students who have weaknesses and challenge students who are ready to move forward. Students love the program because it allows them to independently scan their own assignments so the motivation to complete skills is great. However, the program requires ink to print the assignments individual for each student. With a shrinking budget, we are sometimes unable to use this excellent program because we don't have the ink to print the assignments. I want make sure we have what we need in our classroom so that my students stay excited and motivated.

My Project

I am requesting 4 black ink cartridges and a combo pack of color cartridges. We don't print a lot in color, but it won't allow us to print in black and white if we don't have the color cartridges. I am asking you to please push my students mathematically and allow them to be all they can be. This program is the most successful program I have used for math. My students will be better mathematicians because of your donation.

This donation will make a difference in the lives of my students.

They will benefit daily from having instruction tailored just for their needs. There won't be any down time because students can work on their assignments and scan them in during their free time. This allows them to be confident in their mathematical abilities no matter what level they are working on. Thank you for considering this donation. My students and I will be forever grateful.
