My Students

Hello Donors, I work in a Title I School located in Manhattan, New York City. Our population consists of minorities and low-income families. Most come to school without the necessary materials to be successful and empowered learners. All students are eager to learn new and interesting things. Our goal is to prepare students for upper grades and become college-ready individuals.

Our elementary school serves students in grades PreK-5 and provides rigorous academics, a safe learning environment, and without question, an amazing staff.

Due to these great efforts, our school is one of the top-performing schools in our district. We continue to thrive daily and push our students to their fullest potential.

My Project

These materials will help make a difference in my students' learning. Being a remote, 4th-grade teacher comes with a lot of high demands. I need to be able to create fun and engaging supports for my students.

Most benefit from individualized supports and I don't have the ink and copy paper to execute it.

There are necessities such as assessments, supports, graphic organizers, art projects, etc. to help me create a cohesive classroom environment, and having ink and copy paper will allow me to fulfill this during these difficult times. I want my students to feel as if they are still in school and have a community building classroom. Thank you so much.
