Ink for Creativity: Visual Tools for Young Artists
Help me give my students access to printed reference cards and tracing templates by funding ink for my classroom printer, so they can stay focused, inspired, and creative during every art lesson.

My Project
As a first-year itinerant art teacher working at two Title I schools, I’ve seen how much of a difference the right visual support can make. My students are creative, curious, and full of potential—but many of them struggle to stay focused when relying only on projected images or demonstrations. That’s why I began printing small color reference cards and tracing templates, tailored to each lesson. These cards, which I laminate for repeated use, help students understand complex ideas, stay engaged, and feel confident in creating their own artwork.
This project will fund the ink I need to continue providing these printed resources.
With access to physical visuals they can hold, observe, and use directly, my students are more independent, motivated, and successful in art class. I also plan to introduce exit tickets next year to support reflection and reinforce learning. Your support will directly fuel hands-on, meaningful learning moments for hundreds of young artists who deserve the chance to shine.
