My students need a supply of dry erase markers and ink so they will have no limits on printing their projects and completing activities on their white boards.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I'm a 4th grade teacher in the Milwaukee Public Schools system.
My students come from broken homes, foster homes, and low poverty areas.
Many are faced with challenges that I've never dreamed of. 100% of my school is free lunch, and all students also receive breakfast for free. Most of my students come from Spanish-speaking homes. Many of their parents do not speak English at all. My students are the ones teaching their parents the English. They thrive for learning and show me their S.W.A.G. --Success, Willpower, Attitude, Goals--daily. They take pride in their success and their learning each and every day, no matter how hard life is outside of my classroom.
My Project
My students do many research based projects throughout the year. They are often limited to what they can print, do to the low supply of ink. They are very eager to have their projects displayed in the hallways, but if there isn't enough ink available to print 30 students' projects (sometimes 2-3 pages each with colored photos), 3+ times a year, we will have to limit what they are able to type and print from their research.
Having a decent supply of ink both for our classroom printer, as well as dry erase ink, my students won't have to worry about dried out markers to take notes, organize ideas/data, or not being able to print their completed projects.
