Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As of March 13, our school has been closed. Like many other schools, we all thought we would only be closed for 2-5 days for deep cleaning. Since then, our students have been distance learning from their homes. My students are learning through ZOOM, apps, and websites. However, I do not have access to many resources from my home to teach my students.
My Project
Ever since Covid-19, we have to teach our students at home through distance learning. When we Zoom as a class, I use a lot of manipulative and helpful charts that I've printed for our lessons. Because of this, we are running very low on ink for our classroom printer which is now with me at home.
This project gives my students opportunities to have helpful resources printed in color.
Having laminating sheets allows me to reuse these printed resources multiple times. Students deserve the best learning, especially under these conditions and I would love for them to continue their learning through color!
