This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The majority of my students live in poverty. Many of them yearn for the stability of school, and look forward to the clean, organized structure that an academic environment provides. In our ELA class, we will be exploring both the individual students' worlds, as well as reaching out into the world beyond us.
English class is an opportunity for many students to reflect and explore, all in a structured and safe environment.
I hope to provide the students with as many resources as possible this year, and thank you in advance for your help!
My Project
A key component of an effective classroom is the environment. In order for my students to have clear labeling, and protected access to each other's work, we need to be able to print and laminate in the room for presentations and environment additions.
My students will write copious amounts this year, and the ability to print and share their hard work with others is essential.
In doing so, they will be able to develop a stronger sense of pride in themselves as writers and self-publishers. Thank you for visiting our page, and I hope to soon be able to share our work with you!
