My Project
My Kindergarten students are amazing! They are very curious, hard-working, eager to learn, and highly energetic. I love watching them learn and grow!
The students at my school come from low economic backgrounds.
We are a Title I funded school and most of the students are not able to bring in additional items that would create a rich environment. Providing the tools necessary to teach remains a constant struggle due to the lack of enough funding to provide for each year.
I am asking for ink cartridges and printer paper because in Kindergarten, they are learning to do a lot of tracing of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, learning sight words, and writing words and sentences. I also use the printer to print pictures that go along with our curriculum themes, and I create and copy academic worksheets for concepts that I am currently teaching in my class. Also, I progress monitor their learning with weekly assessments and exit tickets, which can end up creating a lot of documents that need to be printed. With 20 students in my class, that is a lot of printing! It's very essential for us to have a printer with black and color ink in our classroom.
The ink cartridges and printer paper that I am requesting are extremely important to my students and we hope we can count on your support. It will definitely inspire my students to be successful and creative writers!
