My Students
My fourth grade students amaze me every day. Our school is located in Northeastern Los Angeles county, and my students come to me from a variety of backgrounds. They are excited to learn, and they love to read. My students are athletes, comic book artists, musicians, and painters. Approximately 32% of the students at our school qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, and everyone receives free breakfast. Being a small school with big ambitions, our teachers are always seeking ways to be creative, innovative, and engaging.
My students love working with technology, but we need ink cartridges and photo paper so we can print their colorful projects.
My Project
Our class loves to work on projects using technology. We have a computer cart and a color printer, but we have run out of ink! I have requested color and black ink cartridges and photo paper so we can print the wonderful projects that my students work on.
Having the necessary resources to share student work makes it easy for classroom dialogue and sharing.
I have also requested Post-it Easel pads so my students can share their thinking in collaborative groups.
