My Project
My name is Mr. Ingeman and I have recently graduated from the University of North Texas with my bachelors in special education. I am a first year teacher starting in the mid year with my schools academic life skills room. The students in my room have been very enthusiastic about me being their new teacher but we have been struggling with some things related to life skills.
I would like to find more fun social activities for them to do during free time that doesn't involve playing on their ipads.
We like to learn without knowing we are learning, such as learning social skills with games and motor skills with legos. I believe that it is important for the students in my class to never feel bored because the more fun they have the more excited they will be to come to school!
