My Students

My students are the most sincere, driven students that I have had the pleasure of working with this year. I love to see the excitement in their eyes when I tell them that we are doing "hands-on" learning. I strive to provide all of my students with a multi-sensory approach to learning and to allow each student to learn how it is best for them.

My students are excited about school.

I love to see their smiling faces as they walk into my classroom everyday. What truly amazes me is that they do not allow their learning disabilities to hinder their academic performance. They push on through and it is truly inspiring.

My Project

My students love to learn. Every day they come in ready to go and I love sharing things about their world with them. My students do not have a large variety of informational texts at their fingertips, therefore we need to start our collection.

Informational texts help students learn about the real world and real life.

This is an important concept for all students, but especially those with learning disabilities, like mine.

The books in this project will allow me to expose my students to informational text and provide them with a better understanding of the world and events around them.
