My students need an LCD projector for lessons that need a multimedia outlet.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Imagine viewing a lesson on Shakespeare using a variety of multimedia tools instead of the traditional lecture and occasional notes on the white board.
My students love knowledge and the more creative I can make my lessons, the better.
The traditional lecture could suffice, but why not spice it up with a brief clip about an author's life, a quick trip to that author's hometown using Google Earth, or even allow the class to hear a song based on that author's characters.
My Project
An LCD projector would add that extra something that all lessons need in order to truly awaken a student's mind. Presentations can now be done using PowerPoint - complete with video clips, visual art, sound bites, etc... Reviews can be done with a game format. Clips from movies can be seen clearer rather than the old TV set.
My students come from the video game generation, and when my lessons have snippets of that (moving characters, clips, etc...) knowledge becomes infused in a much larger sense.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
