This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This past school year I transitioned into Kindergarten, and was able to get some foundational pieces donated to my classroom. This project is designed expand on my students imagination while building fine motor skills, engineering, and social skills through the use of centers in the classroom. Students will get to learn collaboratively through exploring center activities with magnetic building sets, dot markers and sensory viewers. I will encourage students’ social and problem solving skills by giving them opportunities to engage in collaborative engineering projects using bristle blocks, magnetic building toys and other materials. By fostering student conversation and collaboration through creativity and design development, students will develop skills that will last them a lifetime! My little learners love to build and collaborate and your donation will help them to have enough materials to share and play collaboratively.
