Indoor Recess in 5th Grade!

Help me give my students some games to play and activities to do when they have indoor recess! My goal is to have students play these fun games together to help develop their social skills in the classroom!

My Project

As a first year teacher, it is important to lay out many different options for the kids when there is indoor recess. Some students prefer to play games, others prefer to color, and some may even want to sit around and talk to their friends. Whatever they decide to do, I want to make sure that I have games and activities in my classroom that are going to support them during their break from academics. I believe these games and activities are going to help them continue to learn how to work together, which is a very import skill in an upper elementary classroom.

Overall, I want to include these games and activities in my space so the students can take a good break from academics, and have some fun with their peers.
