Indoor Recess Games

My Students

Many of my kids come from low income housing. My school is a Title I school with limited resources and supplies. Many of my kids come from low socioeconomic households. Despite their challenges, my kids love learning and they love being at school. I want to encourage them to learn and grow throughout the school year.

My Project

This school year is like no other. My students are not allowed to play outside for recess. This project will provide my students with games they can play in the classroom.

By donating to our project, you will help students have more indoor recess materials, help our wonderful students learn how to share the materials through play and learn how to play different activities or games.

These materials will increase engagement during recess time, enrich classroom learning using board games and card games, and offer an opportunity for students to design and create. Indoor recess will be an opportunity for play-based learning, extending the classroom environment.

Students will also learn how to care for the materials so that we will have them available for all students in our school for years to come.
