This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have recently brought indoor recess activities to my attention. Although we are very thankful for the California rain, students are stuck inside for the duration of the school day. My students came up with a solution on their own to solve indoor recess disappointment. They asked me if there was a way I could teach them board games and allow them to use them at recess! Although I thought this was a fun idea, I had no board games to supply them with. This project will allow me to provide educational and engaging board games for students at my Title I school. Most students mentioned to me that they do not have board games at home, therefore they would have a blast using them at school. I included math, grammar and art games and activities that my students would enjoy.
