My Students
A typical day in my classroom is very busy! We have a two-hour reading block. I teach an hour of shared reading that is focused in a whole group setting, and then an hour of small group workstations where I meet with groups for reading! Of course, we have math and science or social studies also.
My students are super energetic and full of energy!
They are very hands-on and are eager to learn new things! This is my fourth year teaching, and the school and coworkers are awesome! I love coming to work every day and enjoy seeing my students when they walk in the door!
My Project
These materials will help my kindergarten students not only in small group settings for differentiation but also for indoor recess when it is too wet, cold, snowy, or windy to go outside. These board games will provide fun but they will be learning as well. The stamp pads and the buttons will help with some much needed crafts to help with activities such as Mother's Day, Halloween, and educational activities that include literacy and math skills. It could even be used in science and social studies hands on projects. All of these items will really help my classroom. Thank you!
