Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach 3rd Grade SEI (Sheltered English Immersion) to a class of Multilingual Learners in Boston Public Schools. All of my students have ELD levels of 1 or 2. They are learning the third-grade curriculum in this special and supportive setting.
I am seeking games for indoor recess and class breaks that build social, emotional regulation, and academic skills specifically in the domains of speaking and listening.
Research shows that games build language skills, and I know my students will love to practice English in this fun way!
