Indoor Recess 2.0

My Students

My fifth-grade class is composed of engaged, creative, and clever learners. My students come from many different economic backgrounds and are very motivated to learn. This group of students is very diverse in their learning levels in math and reading. No matter what the level, they are always trying to excel in all that they do.

These items will make a direct impact in my classroom and for my students.

Due to COVID restrictions our recess activities are limited both inside and outside.

My Project

With these items, students will maintain social distancing inside the classroom during recess and have items to place in their individual recess bag. Students will have the opportunity to interact with other students with the games provided (at a distance) and have individual activities with the use of the problem solving games and coloring pages. This will also give them something to do during recess that is not on their computer or outside since outdoor access is limited. These indoor items will bring indoor recess to a new level for students!
