Indoor Greenhouse Gardening for Kids

My Students

Our students are all such amazing kids. They are energetic, creative and full of curiosity. I will be teaching my students about indoor greenhouse gardening. This will help them understand the growing process and have hands on learning of how to grow vegetables and flowers. They will be able to use this skill outside school for the rest of their lives.

These students will be able to grow something from a little seed to a full plant.

Taking ownership of the growth and care of their plants teaches them responsibility which is very important for all the students to learn and practice.

My Project

I am wanting to teach my students the skill of growing their own plants, flowers and vegetables. I want them to know that they can do this even if they do not have a huge outdoor space in which to achieve this.

These materials will enable me to allow my students to grow something from start to finish whether it be vegetables or even just a flower.

This is something that my students can bring home and do with their families and even take this skill into their adult lives. Being able to grow these plants and then even share them with friends and loved ones would be good for them.
