This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to have my 3-5 grade LLD students participate in a hands-on garden experience. They would all be able to watch the process and enjoy the flowers they have grown.

The system provides a Grow Light and Heat Mat - Strong Seed Starter Tray, 7" Humidity Dome, Grow Light Stand for Seed Starting & Seedling Propagation

Many students will never get the chance to learn how to grow plants. Many will never get the hands-on experience or the chance to see flowers grow from start to finish. This garden system will allow many students to have those experiences. This project will teach them a sustainable way or farming and help develop their sense of responsibility. It will also help them think creatively and use problem solving skills. This garden system will allow the students to compare plant growth inside to our outdoor school garden. I can't wait to give this experience to so many amazing learners!
