This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help provide fun and engaging games and activities my students can use during indoor recess. My sixth grade students are amazing and enjoy going outside to play for recess. During our long Chicago winters some days are to cold to go outside and students must stay indoors. Since we currently do not have games, students tend to gravitate towards using their Chromebook. I would like to provide opportunities where my students can have fun without screens. The materials being requested are some of my student's favorites that encourage them to work on communication skills, team skills, creativity, and strategical thinking.
