Indoor Basketballs

My Students

Students at our school enjoy participating in sports and activities in Physical Education. Physical Education is the most popular elective and the equipment is shared between three teachers throughout the school year. With over 400 students choosing to participate each year, the students are excited to experience new and classic activities to keep them healthy. Most of the students find activities they enjoy and can continue when they leave our middle school for one of the two neighboring high schools. This is why our Physical Education program is so important to our students and our community.

My Project

With this project I am seeking to improve the experience for students in my Physical Education class by providing them with high quality composite basketballs to practice and compete with indoors. My students currently share equipment that is old and dated, many of our current basketballs go flat within days of being filled due to their age and ware. I believe students off all levels should be given some opportunity to use nice equipment, so that they may feel important. Thank you for considering this project or others in the future.
