Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These resources will serve as invaluable tools for promoting physical activity, sensory exploration, social interaction.
For my special needs students, the indoor playground will offer a range of sensory experiences designed to support their individual learning styles and abilities.
The resources will positively impact my Pre-K SCIS class by fostering a sense of belonging, independence, and confidence among students. Through play, my students will develop important social skills such as turn-taking, cooperation, and empathy, while also building gross and fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and problem-solving abilities.
My goals for this indoor playground project are twofold: to create an inclusive and accessible environment where my little ones can thrive, and to provide meaningful learning opportunities that support each child's unique strengths and needs.
