Best practice is to have students learn and engage in their work at their rate and ability. To that end education has become more and more individualized.
With the need to individualize, comes the need to engage in different activities at the same time and that is how these headsets can help.
If students are listening to a video for their learning or recording themselves for an activity, they will need headsets to best capture and keep distractions to a minimum. With these in my classroom I can have more flexibility to assign differentiated work.
