I am a special education teacher for WGHS in Tennessee. This school is a well-loved school with furniture that has been here for many years. These students deserve to have a classroom that is inviting and will meet their educational needs. Some of my students have severe ADHD and autism, so these study carrels will help them feel settled and focused during their independent work. The kidney table will allow me to sit with my self-contained students and work in a way that promotes calmness and ease. I have had these tables in the past at a city school that had lots of resources, but since moving to this Title 1 county school, I only have access to leftover furniture that does not always meet their needs. It is my goal to have their learning environment updated with newer materials that meet their needs over the next 2 years. I have given so much of my own money in the past to support my students and my classroom, but I am unable to give my personal money at this time. Any help that you can give to reach this goal is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
