This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging activities, and challenges that allow them to explore and show their love for learning. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally, socially, and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

Our school is in a Title One school located high a poverty area with 100% free lunches.

My Project

We use whiteboards almost daily in my classroom, in language art and math. Due to the pandemic, the boards we had in the classroom were sent home for online use. We are continuing on a hybrid model and the children will be in class two days and week and online thee days. We are in need of a set for school use. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. When they have their personal whiteboard we will avoid any cross-contamination, thus keeping my kids healthy.
