Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class is comprised of 24 energetic and inquisitive Transitional Kindergartners whose families come from 10 different countries from around the world. For many of them, this is their first school experience and we want to make this experience as positive as possible.

My Project

Starting Transitional Kindergarten during a pandemic is challenging for any child, but it also should be safe, clean, and organized. We are trying our best to teach the students to social distance during this time. Our materials have always been communal but, unfortunately, that all has changed because of Covid-19 protocols. The "At-Your-Seat Storage Sacks" will help each child keep their material in a safe and organized manner. The students will be able to access their materials at any time during the school day without having to share them with others.
