This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class of kindergarteners are starting to work more independently as they get ready for first grade. Our newly published authors deserve flexible options for where they can write and allow them to best focus on their work.

These lap desks will allow our students to work independently in any area of the room they feel appropriate.

Students will have the choice between working at a kidney table with a teacher, using a lap desk in the library or calming area, or a clipboard on the rug to complete their writing assignments.
