Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Another way in which most of my students learn math is through using manipulatives by drawing them onto a white board and then using that to count. The dry erase markers will help the students with being able to draw these manipulatives onto the boards during math time.

The headphones will not only help the students listen to the individual prompts given by the reading platform, but it will let the program listen to their unique responses.

Many of the headphones my students currently use do not have working microphones, which makes it difficult for the program to listen each of their private responses.

Some of the independent life-skills the students should be learning in how to shop for and make simple meals for themselves. The mini fridge will provide a place for the students to put their perishable groceries after community outings and then time to use those items to make simple meals for themselves.
