Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Due to a very limited budget teaching in a city school district, I am asking for these supplies to increase student enrichment in my Media Center. These materials will provide the students with the opportunity to read books and use makerspace activities to expand their creative thinking and support their social emotional learning. First grade students have been exposed to Caldecott Medal books while early chapter books have been an interest for second graders to increase their love of reading. Flexible seating will give the students the opportunity to self regulate.
