Help me give my students independant stations to promote personal space but at the same time they are able to work on the same lesson and maintain social interaction.
I teach 4 year old prek students in an inclusion classroom where we also have friends from the PPCD (preschool program for children with disabilities) classroom across the hall spend time with us several times a day. My kids make amazing partners and friends to these kids. I see the greatest little friendships form.
I teach in a town where I get kids of many different backgrounds, some have very limited english and some have limited speech all together but they are all eager to learn.
My Project
Preschoolers thrive on being social and learning together, unfortunately right now we have to be careful and keep some space between the kids while maintaining interaction. The magnetic board I am asking for is 2 sided so 2 kids can be working on the same thing but have a boundary between them, they can be social and safe. I am also asking for some supplies so the kids can have their own and not worry about sharing germs.
The kids in my Prek inclusion classroom do almost all of their learning through interaction from each other.
The items I am asking for encourage this learning.
