My Project
In my classroom, many students benefit from using technology-based programs for reading, language arts, and personalized learning. However, a lack of resources, especially headphones, creates distractions and limits their ability to work independently. Many students also struggle to stay engaged while sitting in traditional, hard chairs for long periods. That's why I'm requesting headphones and comfortable flexible seating for my students.
The headphones will allow them to listen to audio lessons, instructional videos, and assessments without interruption or background noise.
They'll be able to fully focus during independent work and feel more confident using learning tools like iReady, HMH, and online reading programs.
The flexible seating benches will give students more comfortable options during partner work, small group activities, or quiet reading time. These benches will allow them to shift positions, collaborate more naturally, and feel less restricted. When students are physically comfortable, their ability to concentrate and stay motivated improves.
