My Project
As we learn new math skills such as counting, addition, and subtraction, students need fun ways to practice independently or with a partner. Students in my class get time each day to choose how they want to practice math skills. I like to offer them lots of different engaging options so that math remains something they WANT to do.
This project will allow me to offer fun and engaging ways for students to practice math concepts and have fun doing it!
These materials will help me to differentiate for the needs of my students. Some students work on numbers to 10 for a short time and need to only practice a few times while others work on this skill for months. I picked learning activities that cover a range of skills but also activities that allow students to practice the same skill with a variety of materials.
