This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As my students are getting younger, with the new TK age requirements, we need a cart to help keep their belongings organized in a secure spot. My young students are learning how to care for themselves and how to be responsible for their belongings at school. This cart will help them understand where to keep their belongings independently. This is incredibly important as this may be their first year in school and remembering where their personal belongings may be difficult as they navigate their day without their parents.
This cart will keep their personal belongings safe, in one spot, and allow mobility when they forget, promoting independence.
This cart can be rolled out for parents to collect items forgotten, eliminating anxiety and stress for my students, the teachers, and their parents.
Please help me help my students create positive experiences at school as they learn how to be self-sufficient.
