This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students I teach are passionate about learning. They come every day eager to learn something new. My students are respectful and take pride in our classroom.
The demographics of my students are more than 90 percentage come from low-income families, students who live in hotels and other students are considered homeless.
No matter their home/living situation they still give it their all during the day.
I offer my students a warm, loving, safe class to come every day. I offer different learning opportunities, so the students are prepared for higher level learning. Through these opportunities, the students learn to work as a team and become a family, which is another thing I love about my class.
My Project
The ink that I am requesting will make a difference in my students' learning because I will be able to continue to print instructional resources.
My virtual and in person students will benefit from this ink because I will be able to print individualized resources for each student.
My students love reading books at their level and with the ink I am able to print the books out for them. Due the pandemic, they are reading digital books, but I believe it is just as important for the students to experience holding a book in their hands.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
