My Students
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!
When they learn something new and make a connection with real-world experiences you should see the light bulbs going off.
The theme in our classroom is Washington University Huskies, which exposes our scholars to options greater than what they could imagine.

My Project
These colorful LCD writing tablets are just what my students need to increase student engagement and also a way for me to do quick formative assessments during instruction.
My scholars light bulbs really go off when they have an interactive tool so why not give them a tool for all types of student work like these LCD writing tablets.
I also want a way to show scholars letters and numbers by using a document camera to assist with a visual for their learning. I also want to be able to model math problems during instruction to assist my scholars giving an exemplar to complete their own student work.
