it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My special needs students need a highly engaging method to increase their reading skills.
I am fortunate to work at a high achieving Title 1 school in southern California where nearly 80% of my students are on free and reduced lunch.
As a special education teacher I am always searching for creative ways to increase my students' reading skills.
My Project
In order to help my students increase their reading skills I would like to have 1 Samsung Galaxy Tablet. With a tablet I will be able to present digital interactive books to all of my students including those that cannot read. In addition to digital books, I will be able to add a variety of reading fluency, and comprehension applications to increase all of my student's reading skills.
Imagine being a third or fourth grader who has never read a book at your own reading level, now imagine having the technology to finally access those books.
With your help, we can get a digital tablet that can make this dream a reality.
