My Project
Students who walk through the doors of my classroom receive preparation for post-secondary education. These students will have the skills necessary to succeed in a trade school or a university should they desire to further their education. I currently teach Business Education courses and our students were fortunate enough to receive new computers over the last two years, however, our classroom furniture is in dire need of replacing. Our workstations are several years old and as such they have endured years of wear and tear. Large sections of the coverings have been removed, legs are loose, screws that hold them together are missing in places, tabletops are just laid on top of the foundation on some of them and multiple tables are unsteady and covered in graffiti.
By donating to our project, you will not only replace several of our workstations that have been dealt a great deal of wear and tear throughout the years, you will also provide our students with a classroom that is comfortable, cozy and in return boost their overall abilities to succeed inside the classroom.
New and updated facilities will assist our students can focus on their work and not be distracted by these minute disturbances. Without these distractions our students will no longer find themselves sidetracked or uncomfortable and will be able to engage in learning to a higher degree than previously.
