it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love having a book in their hands! Students whose first language is not English struggle a lot with their literacy. ELL students are done with picture books! The best thing to do to increase their literacy is by providing them with books that have a variety of words, no pictures, and real life events. By providing each of my students with a hard-copy of ''The Outsiders,'' they will be able to increase their literacy skills and their vocabulary by having them learn vocabulary in context every time they read.
