My Project

Increasing critical thinking skills has been a focus for scholars this year through intentional STEAM tasks and activities. We are looking to extend our work by providing critical thinking STEAM activities that can go home with scholars in the blue drawstring bags listed in the project. We included pencils and journals in our project to encourage scholars to reflect on tasks, feelings, successes and challenges. We want to add games, fidgets, puzzles, and Brain Teasers for them to use.

Scholars have responded positively to our focus of STEAM tasks and activities that promote critical thinking.

Accurate classwork completion data and assessment data have improved since consistently implementing STEAM critical thinking activities.

We are hoping to provide more hands-on STEAM resources like puzzles and blocks that can be used in classrooms and also go home with scholars.
